When you join, we store:

• when you first signed up, and which form you used
• the version of this notice you signed up under

These are kept in a Cloudflare D1 database. We use them only to email you about access to Sameplace. This website doesn’t send a confirmation email and doesn’t connect to your Google account.

How people find Sameplace

While a tab is open, it remembers the first page of this site you visited and a broad traffic category: search, campaign, referral, or direct/unknown. If you join the waitlist, those two values are saved with your signup. A repeat signup keeps the original values.

We don’t store search terms, full referrer addresses, campaign parameter values or a visitor identifier with your signup. This uses session storage, so closing the tab ends it.

Usage analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to count visits and see how the site and the embedded demo are used: pages viewed, time on page, links and buttons clicked, page speed, whether the demo loaded and which of its views you opened, and whether you joined the waitlist. PostHog also records your browser, device type, approximate location from your IP address and the referring site.

The site sets no analytics cookies and stores no analytics identifier in your browser. PostHog tells repeat visits apart with a hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day. Your email address is never sent to PostHog, and nothing you type into the demo is recorded.

The demo

The demo uses fictional data and simulated services. Your changes stay in your browser. No emails or calendar invitations are sent, and the demo’s AI results are simulated without sending anything to an AI service. Reset demo removes the current demo workspace; clearing this site’s browser storage removes the rest.

Requests to this website

Cloudflare processes requests to host this website. The signup form uses your IP address to limit repeated attempts; the IP address isn’t saved in the waitlist database. The application doesn’t log submitted email addresses or request bodies.
